Ayrton Senna - o musical, faz do teatro musical uma plataforma multidisciplinar e propõe uma interface com o universo circense e da tecnologia para proporcionar ao espectador uma experiência imersiva, sensorial e sonora, que o transporte para o universo automobilístico. Movidos pela sensação da velocidade, elenco e equipe mergulharam num processo artístico da pesquisa de linguagem, traduzindo esse mundo da Formula 1 em partituras de movimento, gestos, sonoridades, vôos e saltos acrobáticos.

BIO - RENATO ROCHA
Renato Rocha é um diretor brasileiro que desenvolve carreira internacional desde 2010. Em Londres criou espetáculos para a Royal Shakespeare Company, The Roundhouse, LIFT (London International Festival of Theatre) e Circolombia. Criou espetáculos também para a Bienal Internacional de Artes de Marselha, National Theatre of Scotland, o Festival Internacional de Dança de Leicester, União Européia e Unicef. Além de ter dirigido e colaborado em projetos na Índia, Berlim, Tanzânia, Quênia, Egito, Paris, Nova Iorque, Edimburgo, Estocolmo, Budapeste e Colômbia.
Criou espetáculos aclamados pela crítica e pelo público, como: “The Dark Side of Love”, considerado entre os 5 maiores sucessos do ano Olímpico em Londres em 2012; “Turfed”, também em Londres, eleito entre os 10 maiores sucessos de todo o Reino Unido no ano de 2014; “Acelere”, um dos records de público no Roundhouse, em Londres em 2015, levando mais de 2.500 espectadores por sessão.
Foi também o diretor artístico da organização Street Child United, que cria projetos com jovens em situação de rua em 20 países, e um dos diretores artísticos da Circus Incubator, uma plataforma de pesquisa de circo criada em colaboração entre La Grainerie (França), Circus Info e Cirko (Finlândia), Subtopia (Suécia), La Central del Circ (Espanha), La TOHU (Canadá) e Luni Produções (Brasil).
Em seu retorno ao Brasil em 2016, Renato fundou o NAI – Núcleo de Artes Integradas, trazendo para o cenário nacional sua pesquisa artística multidisciplinar desenvolvida no exterior, que o diretor vem aprofundando e chamando de processo criativo antropofágico. Com o NAI criou “Before Everything Ends” (Antes que Tudo Acabe) especialmente para o Festival Home/Away em Glasgow, a instalação performativa “S’Blood”, indicado ao Shell-RJ de 2018, na categoria Inovação, e agora segue pro seu terceiro trabalho com o grupo.
Dirigiu os musicais “Ayrton Senna” e “O Meu Destino é Ser Star” com a Aventura Entretenimento, e seu mais recente projeto em 2019, idealizado pelo próprio diretor, “Eu, Moby Dick”, recebeu 6 indicações ao Prêmio Botequim Cultural (melhor espetáculo, melhor direção, melhor autor, melhor direção musical, melhor direção de movimento e melhor cenografia), 2 indicações ao Prêmio Cesgranrio de Teatro (melhor cenografia e melhor iluminação) e 1 indicação ao Prêmio Shell de Teatro (melhor dramaturgia).
Além disso, colabora com projetos em diversos lugares do mundo, no uso da arte como poderosa ferramenta na transformação social e no engajamento de comunidades e indivíduos em situação de vulnerabilidade, criando intercâmbios de metodologias e treinamentos para professores, facilitadores e agentes comunitários. E ainda vem ministrando residências artísticas ao redor do mundo.
Renato Rocha’s Bio
Renato Rocha is a Brazilian director who has been developing an international career since 2010. In London he has created shows for the Royal Shakespeare Company, The Roundhouse, London International Festival of Theater (LIFT) and Circolombia. He has also created shows for the Marseille International Biennial Arts, The National Theater of Scotland, Leicester International Dance Festival, European Union and Unicef. He has also directed and collaborated on projects in India, Berlin, Tanzania, Kenya, Egypt, Paris, New York, Edinburgh, Stockholm, Budapest and Colombia.
He has created critically and publicly acclaimed shows, such as “The Dark Side of Love,” ranked among the top five hits of the 2012 London Olympic year; “Turfed”, also in London, voted among the 10 biggest hits in the whole of the United Kingdom in 2014; “Acelere”, one of the audience records at the Roundhouse in London in 2015, bringing over 2,500 viewers per session.
He was also the artistic director of Street Child United, which designs street youth projects in 20 countries, and one of the artistic directors of Circus Incubator, a circus research platform created in collaboration between La Grainerie (France), Circus. Info and Cirko (Finland), Subtopia (Sweden), La Central del Circ (Spain), La TOHU (Canada) and Luni Produções (Brazil).
On his return to Brazil in 2016, Renato founded NAI - Nucleus of Integrated Arts, bringing to the national scene his multidisciplinary artistic research developed abroad, which the director has been deepening and calling the anthropophagic creative process. With NAI he created “Before Everything Ends” especially for the Glasgow Home / Away Festival, the 2018 Shell-RJ Theater Award nominated “S'Blood” performance installation in the Innovation category, and now goes pro his third work with the group.
He directed the musicals “Ayrton Senna” and “My Destiny is Being a Star” with Aventura Entertainment, and his latest project in 2019, conceived by the director himself, “I, Moby Dick”, received 6 nominations for the Botequim Cultural Award (best show, best direction, best author, best musical direction, best movement direction and best set design), 2 nominations for the Cesgranrio Theater Award (best set design and best lighting) and 1 Shell Theater Award nomination (best playwriting).
In addition, it collaborates with projects around the world, using art as a powerful tool for social transformation and engaging vulnerable communities and individuals, creating methodological exchanges and training for teachers, facilitators and community agents. And it has been ministering artistic residencies around the world.
